Biuro Cyfryzacji Miasta powstało we wrześniu 2017 roku, jako komórka odpowiedzialna za wyznaczanie kierunków cyfrowej transformacji Warszawy. Odpowiada za wdrażanie miejskich usług cyfrowych skierowanych do mieszkańców oraz zarządzanie architekturą systemów IT w mieście.
